1. When playing Clash Royale, you will find that using your elixir efficiently in battle is key. If you do not, then your opponent will be able to pass right through your defense. Try to use the least amount of elixir that you possibly can, just make sure that you take the least amount of damage on your arena/king tower as possible too.

2. Focus on leveling up the cards in your deck. Mastering one deck is much better than using too many at once.

3. Most player find it very hard to counter troops like royal giant, and elite barbarians. When taking on a royal giant, try using a building that is in your deck. Beware though, the royal giant can hit your defensive buildings from a distance, not allowing the buildings to reach it. Place the building after the royal giant gets closer so you can take it out. When countering elite barbarians, use cards that spawn more than one troop like skeleton army, goblin gang skeletons, etc. It is also very effective to use splash dealing cards. like valkyrie, and bomb tower.

4. When using heavy troops like golem, try using elixir pump in your deck to get an elixir advantage over your opponent.

5. When using decks that have lots of cards like goblin gang, minions, minion horde, or skeleton army, try to make your opponent use his/her arrows so they have nothing to counter the rest of those cards in your deck. This strategy is called zap bait or arrow bait.

6. Using Graveyard is tricky, first distract your opponent's tower, then use graveyard. Graveyard+Freeze spell is also a great combo, just watch out for cards like valkyrie and archers that can defend graveyard!

7. Try catching your opponent off guard. If you see that he/she has used a lot of elixir to counter your push on one side, quickly use a card like elite barbarians, prince, and others so your opponent will have no elixir to counter it. Just don't forget to save elixir for your opponent's counter push!
